This item specifically shows at the top that you will be emailed an access code for the practice exam. The ebook in Kindle specifically says that this version does not include the practice exam.Amazon has been of no help for this except to report it to the publisher.
If you have the old voice book, no need to get this one. They are the same except for a few very minor changes that I did not see on the test nor see at work.
AS expected.
It's Cisco. As good as you'd expect from their textbook. Ran alongside my classroom learning, and did a fairly good job teaching concepts and configurations. Being Cisco, you'd best be prepared for some trial and error, as well as reading between the lines. It did it's job, and I'm on my way to getting CCNA certified.
Good product
I gave this a 3 for a simple reason. This book says it prepares you for the CICD, but it doesn't. Some of the questions on the exam are not in book at all. The example questions that come with the book are not like the exam. I have looked on many forums as well and people are reporting the same.It is a well written book and I did learn about Collaboration, but for passing the exam, this book alone will not help you.
Arrived on time.I haven't had a chance to review the content but the online rough cuts of this book appeared to have very good explanations of the topics included on the 210-060 exam
The content of the book is great, and very well written. But as far as preparing you for the exam, it does not do that. I have taken the exam twice now, and both times I was very surprised at the questions I received. I have read through this book numerous times, taken and aced the practice exams provided, used the memory tables extensively, and on exam day couldn't believe the amount of information that I didn't know.I'm not sure if this is an issue with the book, or Cisco testing. I've used paid online training websites, Cisco Press books, I've worked in the actual job for a few months now and they all teach and utilize the same lessons. The exam does not.Until they can accurately communicate what is valuable to know for the exam, I would skip over this book.
