His courtroom experiences account for the setting of the “By Judicial Decree” books, and his background in military history helped with the details of the “Cadet” series of books. He is also an avid chess-player, golfer and life-long science fiction addict. He has worked in movies and television as a background actor, but perhaps he is the kiss of death for television shows: he has been in three of them, all of which have been cancelled before completing the first season (including the now infamous "Do No Harm", which only aired twice before getting the axe).
